Oh the pain that cripples,
even the strongest of men.
Silencing voices of faith
Breaking hearts again and again.
The why’s of life that stop us
From understanding your hand.
That cause us to question your love
And answers we demand.
But oh the love you offer,
You pour out lavishly.
Unnoticed because of our hurt,
That floods us as we weep.
Judging you in our weakness,
The enemy cheers for our defeat.
Not acknowledging a Savior
who agonizes and intercedes.
Father you do not turn your back,
Or wish us to feel this way.
But your glory is supreme
Over all that fills our day.
The one thing we deserved is death.
But you give us so much more.
To worship you alone,
That is what we are here for.
So what about this pain.
What will you do with it God.
How will you show so many
That your word is not a Fraud.
Be supernatural in this pain.
It’s hard for them to breathe.
Show yourself as loving,
Please Lord intercede.
